Patch 2.1.2 PTR - nu online!

Den kommende patch kan nu testes på PTR - og du kan få en forsmag på, hvad der venter i den endelige udgave.



Det er ikke engang to uger siden, vi første gang fik indsigt i den kommende patch 2.1.2 til BlizzCon. Og i dag er patchen altså blevet lagt til test på PTR. Læs den officielle udmelding fra Blizzard nedenfor.

Patch 2.1.2 is currently in development and now available for testing on the PTR. To learn about major changes included in 2.1.2, please see the official PTR patch notes. For information on how to participate, copy over characters, and provide feedback, read on below!

Further details on how to access the PTR and use the Character Copy system can be found in the FAQ.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

To participate in the public test, you must have a Diablo III game license attached your Battle.net account in good standing (i.e. it hasn't been suspended or banned). In addition, you will also need to download and install the Battle.net desktop app if you have not already done so.

Step 1: Create a PTR account. To create a PTR account, log in to Battle.net Account Management and double-click on your Diablo III game license; this will bring you to the game management page. On this page, click "Create a PTR account." 

If you've participated in any previous Diablo III PTR (including the Reaper of Souls beta), the "Create PTR account" button may not appear. This is because you've already created a PTR account and can therefore skip this step.

Step 2: Once you have created a PTR account, installed the Battle.net desktop, and logged in with your Battle.net credentials, select "Diablo III" from the main menu on the left-hand side of the application.

Step 3: On the Diablo III screen, there is a drop-down menu right above the "Play" button (note that this may say "Install" if you do not have Diablo III currently installed). Select "PTR: Diablo III" from this drop-down menu before proceeding.

Step 4: You should now have the option to install and play the patch 2.1.2 PTR.

The 2.1.2 PTR is available in all supported languages, and accounts from all regions are eligible to participate.

PTR CHARACTER COPY:

The option to copy your existing Diablo III characters from your live account to the PTR will be available and can be done directly through the PTR client. However, only one region per account can be copied at a time. So, if you choose to copy characters from your account in a different region, any previously copied PTR characters will be lost.

Step 1: Log into PTR client and create a level 1 character. After you're done, return to the main character screen.

Step 2: Click on the "PTR Copy" button located in the upper right-hand corner. (The PTR Copy button will not appear in-game until you have created a new level 1 character.)

Step 3: Select your region.

Step 4: Click "Copy." This will copy all characters on your account from the selected region.

Step 5: You will be disconnected from the PTR client.

Step 6: Log back in. Your copied characters will be available for play.

Please note that you can only copy characters from one gameplay region at a time. If you choose to copy characters from a different region, any previously copied PTR characters will be lost.

In addition, you can only copy characters over to your PTR account once every 72 hours. Attempting to copy characters before this cooldown is up will result in an error.

FEEDBACK AND BUG REPORTING:

Once you've had the chance to try things out, be sure to visit the Public Test Realm forum to provide feedback about class changes and new features and systems, as well as discuss the 2.1.2 patch with other players.

To report any in-game bugs and technical issues, visit the North American PTR Bug Report forum.

As this is a test server, please anticipate uneven game performance, and note that restarts and downtime may occur without warning. We'll provide information regarding extended downtimes, should they occur, in the North American PTR Feedback forum.

GENERAL

  • A message will now display in chat when a Treasure Goblin has been killed or escaped
  • Players can no longer go Brawling while a Greater Rift they paid to enter is open
  • Healing
    • The "Healing" stat on the character sheet has been replaced with "Recovery"
      • Recovery is an estimate of how much Toughness you are expected to be able to recover in combat and is calculated using a combination of your Healing, Life, and Toughness
      • The Healing number will still be viewable in the character sheet if you mouse over the Recovery stat
    • Life per Vitality has been increased from level 67 to 70
    • Base Life at level 70 has been increased
    • Healing from Health Globes has been reduced

          • Rime was an unfair opponent for melee players. The fight has been restructured so that his AoE can no longer overlap and the duration of each has been reduced. In addition, his ranged attack should be more threatening to ranged characters.
    • Pylons
      • Shield Pylon
        • Now reflects damage back to attackers
      • Speed Pylon
        • Duration has been increased from 30 seconds to 1 minute
        • Now knocks enemies into the air and deals damage to them
        • Now breaks Waller for the full duration
    • Realm of Trials
      • The time between waves has been shortened
      • Minor changes have been made to the types of monsters that can spawn
      • Rewards now scale based upon the rank of the Keystone you receive
      • Keystone of Trials no longer plays the Legendary item sound, or displays the Legendary item minimap icon when dropped

      • Fixed an issue that allowed Follower skills to be changed while in a Greater Rift

Interessant med Hydra's, at de nu scaler med attack speed. Selvom damage bliver reduceret kunne man godt forestille sig man kan komme endnu højere op i skade, lidt afhængig af hvad "greatly increased" betyder  :)
Til gengæld synes jeg, selvom de skriver det ikke er meningen, at det virker lidt som om DH bliver nerfed...

Mange gode ændringer. Især nerfs til de monstre udenfor skærmen der nakker en ved at komme flyvende op i fjæset på en.

Dog forstår jeg ikke, at de ikke kigger nærmere på jailers. Det er et kæmpe problem i min optik, og nej, jeg synes ikke, det er underholdende eller fair gameplay, at man skal one-shottes af jailer elites, som man på ingen måde kan undgå, medmindre man holder sig på laaaang afstand. De burde lave en form for markør, så man kunne undvige jailers på en eller anden måde.

Hmm AS påvirkning af hydra, resulterende i reduced weapon damage er vel et eller andet sted et rent nerf til mammoth hydra? Hvor de andre runer bare kommer til at kunne lægge mere dmg med høj attack speed, er det eneste mammoth hydra får ud af det, at den hurtigere "flytter" banen når mostrene flytter sig... Men hvis man placerer den ordentligt/har CC bliver den jo bare castet nytteløst flere gange? Og bliver derved nerfed med en lavere damage... Medmindre der kan være flere "baner" af ild på en gang?


Edit: selvfølgelig er det da fedt hvis den hurtigere retter sig efter hvor modstanderne er, men hvis det ikke var et problem for en før, er den mindre skade vel et nerf, uden at blive "buffet" af AS scaling.

hm. Ikke meget love til monks ifht. andre classes andet end at det lader til at sunwuko buildet bliver boosted yderligere som det eneste der kan være med i de høje Grifts. Dog formentligt med modifikationer, +500% damage i 3sek til LTK og WoL lyder da godt på papiret.

Siden sentries begynder at spytte de spenders du selv fyrer af, kan de vist skade utrolig meget. Har hørt om Demon Hunters som critter 300 million eller sådan noget, med en ability jeg lige nu ikke kan huske hvad hedder :P

Og det er med vilje at Blizzard har gjort med jailer som de har. De ville ikke have at man kunne undvige ALLE angreb, da du så bare kunne undvige alt og spille på en sværhedsgrad som slet ikke passede til hverken din skade, sejhed eller regenereringsevne.

Er helt enig, det giver god mening for de andre Hydra's men Mammoth bliver hårdt ramt pga sin DoT som ikke skalere med attack speed. Tror dog det skyldes at det pt kun er Mammoth der benyttes, så  målet er vel at gre dem mere jævnbyrdige og Mammoth har da også markant mere damage end de andre.

Til gengæld synes jeg, selvom de skriver det ikke er meningen, at det virker lidt som om DH bliver nerfed...
Det er en nerf til dem som ikke anvender deres skills selv (mig i blandt fordi det simpelthen ikke var nødvendigt tidligere), men hvis du bruger dine skills nu vil de være mere aktive. Har du eksempelvis 3 Sentries nu og bruger Cluster Arrow til 550% WD, så vil alle 3 sentries også bruge en 1100% WD Cluster Arrow (plus bonusser).

En anden ting er også at det lader til at antallet af Sentries bliver reduceret men du kan sætte dem hurtigere hvis du har ladet nok op, så på få sekunder har du maximum antal sentries rundt om en boss som følger dine angreb til dobbelt damage.

Jeg kan ikke få det til at give en nerf, medmindre du ikke spiller aktivt.

Og det er med vilje at Blizzard har gjort med jailer som de har. De ville ikke have at man kunne undvige ALLE angreb, da du så bare kunne undvige alt og spille på en sværhedsgrad som slet ikke passede til hverken din skade, sejhed eller regenereringsevne.
Præcis, de har dog sat damage ned på de højere grifts så du nu gen er nød til at have et "minimum" af toughness for at overleve. Er faktisk lidt overrasket over at de ikke har gjort mere for at forkdele damage som de ellers var inde på men jeg tror det kom lidt ud på spillernes regenereringsevne.

Krydser dog stadig fingre for et lille damage nerf på Jailer og Frozen, føler klart de ligger højere end de burde.

 jeg synes at vi player mister for maget i damges i forhold til at de næsten ikke røre ved monstrene  det ender nok med at de fleste skal downgrade deres nu værne sværheds grad for at kunne følge med igen eller skal man nok bare satse 100% på season 2 og så ta den der fra ???

Siden sentries begynder at spytte de spenders du selv fyrer af, kan de vist skade utrolig meget. Har hørt om Demon Hunters som critter 300 million eller sådan noget, med en ability jeg lige nu ikke kan huske hvad hedder :P

Og det er med vilje at Blizzard har gjort med jailer som de har. De ville ikke have at man kunne undvige ALLE angreb, da du så bare kunne undvige alt og spille på en sværhedsgrad som slet ikke passede til hverken din skade, sejhed eller regenereringsevne.

Jo jo, selvfølgelig, men det kan jo ikke passe, at man som DH med toughness på over 12mio skal kunne oneshottes i grift level 30, når man kan holde til lidt af hvert ellers. Der synes jeg, det er sat for drastisk højt med den damage, jailers giver :)

Monster damage holdes nu lidt mere tilsvarende den man oplever på t6 selv i Greater Rifts.

Er ikke sikker på hvad du hentyder til, der er ikke rigtig nogen damage nerfs i denne patch.

Havde ikke bidt mærke i den del, nej, men det ændrer ikke så meget, hvis jailer blot er ændret i samme omfang som alle andre skadestyper. Så opstår problemet længere oppe ad grift-levels - at jailer skader alt for meget i forhold til andre attacks. Det lyder godt nok som om, at vi kommer til at have lettere vej til level midt-30'erne, men som jeg forstår det, vil jailers dér igen være urimeligt hårde, da de ikke har slået ned på jailers specifikt men reduceret skaden over en bred kam :)

Altså nu prøvede jeg lige af, og ved tier 38 slår den i al fald hårdere end 8 mio, men den typiske dræber var dog snarere frozen som igen kommer pludseligt og slår pænt hårdt.

Vil give dig ret i at abillity damage på de 2 bør sættes ned, men over voldsomt virker de nu ikke. P.S. normal bliver jeg rullet totalt på tier 34, så at jeg faktisk kan overleve på tier 38 siger lidt - at jeg også klarede den siger endnu mere, dps med M6 er ca 5 dobblet det højeste jeg så var omkring 200M mens jeg plejer at ligge ved de 40M. Selv sentries almindelige skud så jeg skade op mod 18M mens de plejer at ligge omkring de 3-4 max.

Og så havde jeg en ping på omkring 3-700 ms, PTR serveren er ret hårdt belastet. Hjalp dog at se 3 pylons i løbet af hver rift, Shield er ved at være min yndligs dog slår den ikke helt Channeling - CA spamming!

Jeg er nok heller ikke den rette til at bedømme det, har aldrig skænket jailers ret mange tanker, da jeg ikke føler de har været et kæmpestort problem. Men hvis du på 12 million toughness bliver oneshotted af jailer, så ja, så skal det da revurderes ;)

Nu er 12 mio. toughness jo ikke lig med at man kan tage den mængde skade nøjagtigt, faktisk langt fra. Det er en generel beskrivelse af ens toughness og ikke vurderet på hver enkel skadeform, som man kan blive udsat for. Hvis en af dine resistances er på 50%, f.eks. poison, så betyder det tal jo ikke ret meget, hvis du udsættes for poison dmg. DH er helt sikkert squishy, men da det er en char der fokuserer på dps, så siger det jo sig selv.
Sjovt som alle vælger DH pga. dps og så klager over at de bliver nakket for let ^^

Du overser min pointe, Xenophon_. Mine udsagn bunder som sådan ikke i, at jeg spiller DH - og nok egentlig heller ikke, at jeg havde 12 mio toughness. Jeg ville have sagt det samme, hvis jeg spillede en anden klasse med en vilkårlig mængde toughness. Så din sidste linje må stå for egen regning.

Jeg er helt med på, at DH ikke skal være tank-typen. Men trods dette, valgte jeg med mit gamle build at gå på kompromis med damage frem for at få en del toughness på min DH. Jeg havde faktisk god succes med det, og kunne køre grift lvl 30-31 og sommetider 32 uden problemer. Alle monstre var en udfordring, men jeg blev langt fra one-hit-dræbt af eksempelvis arcane beams (samme dmg type som jailer), poison clouds, frozen pulses osv. - hvilke jeg blev ramt af ofte, da jeg gik ret meget ind i kampene, og ikke kørte eksempelvis Sharpshooter.

Med andre ord gør angreb, man har en chance for at undvige, mindre skade, end angreb, der IKKE kan undviges. Det giver ikke mening i min bog, og det er en ubalance, jeg ikke kan bifalde. Det burde være lige omvendt.

Havde det været sådan, at jeg ikke kunne klare mosten mod alle andre attacks, ville jeg nok tænke; hmmm, det er nok et for højt level, jeg spiller på, eller, hmmm, jeg skal nok lave mit build om. Sagen er blot den, at jailer-attack'et giver alle andre angreb baghjul, og så er det umuligt at undvige, medmindre man holder sig over en skærmlængde væk. Lige meget hvad, så er det ikke sjovt gameplay i min bog.
