Banning players on single player.
We are not banning players for using single-player cheats.The confusion all comes from an inaccurate statement that we think cheating in single player negatively affects achievements or some such. Not the case. Question about Act 4: To Bashiok
(he's not crazy, I remember them talking about act lengths too)I know they had stated why they like this size of act 4 when wrapping up the game. It's going to get done faster so it feels like your picking up steam for the grande finale... Both female and male barbarian have had pretty drastic make-overs since the original character renders back from announcement. Point being there are mechanics designed to punish players for good reason. Well, what can I say. World of Warcraft is huge. You can't really compare anything to it, the vast majority of people that go to BlizzCon are hardcore WoW players. We'd be silly to not cater the events and time spent on them to the people paying to attend and their primary interests.StarCraft II, yeah, they have a lot of panels this year. Yes, I remember playing Diablo when I was 16. I'm not sure if I was a man then. ... Sometimes I question if I'm one now... BUT THAT'S NEITHER HERE NOR THERE!Anyway, I'm not sure being screwed out of experience and gold and items makes it a man's game. It's the same number as last year. Two 'info' panels and one open Q&A.I really don't see how this could be interpreted as any indication of... anything, at all. We have specific things to talk about. There are only so many ways to make a resource system before they start becoming overly complicated, confusing, annoying, esoteric, or maybe even just meaningless. We know. We've been through many skill system revisions and continue to be in the midst of them. It's misleading for me to refer to them as sets, actually, although that's how they're designed. They're probably better described as item 'looks' or even item tiers. These aren't specific items with specific names and stats, but rather a tier which can represent any number of names or stats behind them.It's the way Diablo II handled it.
