May 11th Tweet
I actually did find time to jump in for an hour or so (so I didn't get much done). It's going really good, things are coming together and it's just a lot of fun to watch as bits are changed and/or added. Still a lot left to go obviously, but they're jamming on it. To clarify, in all versions of Diablo III that has been shown or seen publicly, all monsters are viewable on screen at all times regardless of what your actual character could possibly see. So if a door is closed, you could still see the skeletons waiting for you on the other side. Julian, notorious masochist, continues to read the forums and fansites and provide more information on skills and effects.Re: haunt, he wanted to pass along that the effect seen for the skill was the most ridiculously temporary graphic ever. Monk Rune discovered
You can actually see that one of the cultists has a lightning effect around their feet (it's faint), indicating it's a champion or rare with an electrical affix. The effect you're pointing out is a post-death lightning explosion from that rare/champion.
