Monks using spears?
I talked to Jay a bit more about weapon restrictions last Friday and there are actually going to be some changes over all the classes to increase the weapon types usable by each by a small bit. Reason being that it looks like we probably have the bandwidth to handle it, and people just really like being able to use a lot of different weapon types.. http://www.blizzblues.com/us/monks-using-spears-23425632778.html

Mature Rating
We're planning for a Mature ESRB rating, which is what Diablo and Diablo II were rated. That video is rull old.Is it out of the realm of possibility that we will see lip sync and different movements based upon the scene itself? Wouldn't it be kind of odd if Deckard Cain was telling the Barbarian that he was having a heart attack and yet he was standing there stroking his beard in thought? What BoE means for D3
Meh, i think the real issue people take with BoE is an inherent fear of change. For a lot of people, myself included, the joy of d2 was in acquiring the nicest equipment and that equipment had a sort of equity to it. So the only reason youre putting in BoE gear is so players can't trade it in for equal gear?wow, thats great. what a wonderful and interesting reason. not to mention that i would assume someone of your stature would understand what that statement meant. Dont listen to much.
In the end the game is no challenge in wow their are even icc25 pugs (the most difficult instance), and we dont need cc anymore, wth.PUGs are not PUGs any more. The only difference between a PUG for these end game raids and a guild run is that the people don't always know each other, and they've maybe never done this specific instance .. http://www.blizzblues.com/us/dont-listen-to-much-23425524007.html

Screen shaking effect.
It's something we have to watch and make sure it's used appropriately, but it definitely adds something.Diablo II used it as well, so at least you can't also claim we're ruining the series by adding it.
