Nye PTR patch 2.1.2 notes

En ny version af patch 2.1.2 har ramt PTR-serveren - og der er en god række ændringer at finde.

Selvom der er en del ændringer, som I kan se nedenfor markeret med rødt, bider jeg især mærke i, at det nu skulle være den tand lettere at få fat i de helt sjældne items. Hvor 'let' (eller mindre svært snarere) finder vi nok ud af.

PTR-ONLY CHANGES

  • Items
    • The minimum range that an affix can roll on an Ancient Item has been increased
    • Wizard
      • Fixed an issue that prevented DoT damage from building up toward the infinite Firebird's DoT
      • Fixed an issue that prevented the initial damage done by a Fire spell from counting toward the Firebird's DoT
  • Adventure Mode
    • The Gold and XP rewards for completing a Rift of Trials have been significantly reduced

GENERAL

  • The "Monster Kills grant X experience" affix is now multiplied by game difficulty
  • Healing
    • The "Healing" stat on the character sheet has been replaced with "Recovery"
      • Recovery is an estimate of how much Toughness you are expected to be able to recover in combat and is calculated using a combination of your Healing, Life, and Toughness
      • The Healing number will still be viewable in the character sheet if you mouse over the Recovery stat
    • Life per Vitality has been increased from level 67 to 70
    • Base Life at level 70 has been increased
    • Healing from Health Globes has been reduced
    • Pet and Follower Life has been increased
  • Social
    • The total number of players in a Community and in Community chat will now be displayed on the roster page
    • The presence information displayed in Clan and Community rosters, and the Friends List is now more detailed
    • The Clan Roster will now display the duration that a member has been offline
    • The Clan Roster can now be sorted by offline duration

    • Improvements have been made to the prioritization of abilities that utilize damage shields (e.g. cheat deaths, absorb shields, and % Damage Reduction)
    • Pets
      • Several monster attacks that are intended to be avoided by players that weren't already dealing reduced damage to pets now deal significantly less damage to pets
      • Fixed an issue that prevented players from being healed by Life per Kill when an enemy was killed by a pet

    • Ancient items are more powerful versions of Legendary items
    • Ancient items roll from increased value ranges for certain affixes

    • Fixed an issue that prevented Invigorating Gemstone from correctly reducing your damage taken while Frozen or Blind
    • Fixed an issue that prevented Invigorating Gemstone from correctly healing you when you are hit by a Blind effect
    • Fixed an issue that prevented the damage bonus from Bane of the Trapped from increasing the damage dealt by clones created by the Monkey King's Garb

    • Clear the Barracks
      • Changes have been made to the first floor of The Barracks to make it easier to locate the second floor
  • Nephalem Rifts
    • Players can no longer resurrect at checkpoint
    • Players now resurrect at corpse after a delay
      • The respawn timer will increase with every death
    • The amount of Gold and Experience awarded upon completion of a Greater Rift has been increased
      • Known Issue: Greater Rifts from level 26 on are currently more rewarding than intended and will be adjusted
    • Many maps have received changes to the way their layouts can be generated for Nephalem and Greater Rifts
    • Monsters
      • Monster density has been increased in several Greater and Nephalem Rifts

        • Erethon
          • Erethon has received minor changes to his dash attack. The AoE element has been replaced with a ranged attack to give more challenge to ranged characters.
        • Rime
          • Rime was an unfair opponent for melee players. The fight has been restructured so that his AoE can no longer overlap and the duration of each has been reduced. In addition, his ranged attack should be more threatening to ranged characters.
    • Pylons
      • Pylons are now less likely to spawn next to each other
      • Conduit Pylon
        • Now deals damage based on player Weapon Damage
        • Now attacks a limited number of targets
        • Will now attack the same target less frequently
      • Shield Pylon
        • Now reflects damage back to attackers
      • Speed Pylon
        • Duration has been increased from 30 seconds to 1 minute
        • Now knocks enemies into the air and deals damage to them
        • Now breaks Waller for the full duration
        • Now breaks destroyable objects (e.g. Doors, Barrels, etc.)
    • Realm of Trials
      • The time between waves has been shortened
      • Minor changes have been made to the types of monsters that can spawn
      • Rewards now scale based upon the rank of the Keystone you receive
      • Keystone of Trials no longer plays the Legendary item sound, or displays the Legendary item minimap icon when dropped
  • Bug Fixes
    • Fixed an issue that allowed Follower skills to be changed while in a Greater Rift

Okay, de har gjort weapon dmg nerfet på hydra en smule mindre... Virkede godt nok også voldsomt ellers.

Men samtidig har de reduceret attackspeed på hydra.

Meldingerne fra PTR var ellers at damage nerf + increased attack speed = mere damage.

Yeah, men som jeg sagde i den sidste PTR tråd er det med mammoth hydra vel bedre med ren dmg? ;)

Det er det han mener ;)

Tvivler dog på at det ville kunne give et pålideligt permastun på nogen måde...

Tja, lidt teori her...

Hvis man sørger for at have tilpas med resistance/armor og en tilpas mængde life, så det er tilpasset den skade, man modtager på en given difficulty, så man kun lige modtager et sted mellem minimum 10% skade og, say, 25-30% max skade (ud af total life), så skulle der jo i princippet være mulighed for noget sjovt med den ring. Samtidig skal man selvfølgelig sørge for at have pumpet tilstrækkeligt meget life regeneration og life on hit på sin Wizard, så man hurtigt kan komme op på full life i løbet af den tid, monstrene er frozen. (Jeg er dog i tvivl om, om der menes 10% af tilbageværende life eller total life).

Men taget i betragtning af at man skal stå relativt tæt på monstrene, for at de bliver ramt af Frost Nova, bliver der nok også brug for, at man har noget ranged attack damage reduction eller blot sørger for at samle monstrene i en klump - selvfølgelig - hvilket man kan bruge Black Hole til. Og så kan man jo også supplere med Frost Nova som aktivt skill. Spændende. Det bliver dog nok svært at lave permafreeze - dels fordi, at der skal nogen til at slå på dig for at aktivere nova fra ringen, og dels pga. cooldown på control impairing effects hos nogle monstre.

Men men, jeg er nok helt ved siden af, og det er kun PTR - der sker sikkert noget med ringen, inden den endelige patch rammer serverne.

Fik bare et godt minde fra den legendariske tid med CM Wizard.

Jeg tror ikke nødvendigvis at det vil være viable stun på nogen måed. Men man kan kun håbe.

En af de mest omdiskuterede problemer med tiltaget diskuteret på deres eget fora, interessant at se de lytter lidt.

Uhh så fik de fixet deres lille nye gem og gjort det affix på ens gear en lille smule mere interessant endelig.

Og overall blev den her da lidt mere interessant så med +1750 exp ved rank 25 og en virkende 1600% bonus fra t6 kan det endelig blive lidt interessant.

Så jeg godt den anden aften - sikke et kaos - glad nok for at der ikke var dobbelt op af goblins længere - jøsses var vist 28 gobs i den flok... 3 gem, 2 bloodshards og en mats og så en enkel rainbow resten standard.

Jeg læste at nogen mente den var blevet for overdrevet - jeg kan dog ikke se det, men lige denne ændring synes jeg lyder som et ret hårdt slag mod Hydra. - Kun Mammoth der vinder her, igen - de andre typer ser ud til at blive glemt nok en gang.

Det er sgu da sygt nice at craftings mats stacker højere :D Render rundt med stacks af crafting mats i inventory fordi jeg ikke har plads til flere end to stacks af hver i stash :D

ja og nej - har selv en cap der hedder 3000 og så gider jeg ikke gemme på flere. Men de kunne lige så godt komme igang med at flytte crafting mats ud af inventory plads da det ikke giver mening at det skal tage plads alligevel.

Tror/håber målet med større stacks er at man ikke som så har noget max, men bare samler og smider det ind. Det er skide irriterende at gemme f.eks 3000 som max, og så laver man en ny char som man crafter lidt til, og så er man på under 200'ish, og så mangler man igen... Så vil jeg langt hellere have 5k som max og så samler jeg bare til jeg brækker mig, for man skal sku nok få brug for dem... sooner or later :D

Tja, jeg stopper primært med at samle fordi skidtet fylder så meget og fordi det er irriterende at gå og samle alt det skrammel op hele tiden for at hoppe til byen med det.

Igen ville det bare være meget bedre hvis det fik mats til at fungerer som guld og bloodshards så var alt dette jo også helt ligegyldigt.
