Det er godt nok hurtigt at release PTR syntes jeg. I forhold til at sæson 2 kun "lige" er begyndt.
Men spændende bliver det da! Kan allerede se min nye barb for mig, med fuld IK + nye wrath of the beserker pants ;-)

Det er godt nok hurtigt at release PTR syntes jeg. I forhold til at sæson 2 kun "lige" er begyndt.
Men spændende bliver det da! Kan allerede se min nye barb for mig, med fuld IK + nye wrath of the beserker pants ;-)

Der er rigtig mange ændringer og nye ting som skal testes. Man skal huske på, at der også starter en PTR season, som skal have tid til, at man kan afprøve, fra ny start af. Så jeg syntes, at det er god tid de giver til PTR, hvis den skal udkomme mellem Season 2 og Season 3.

Ja, men jeg tror en af hoved grundene stadig er at der har været så meget modstand på deres egen hoved side.

Mange kritiserede 2.1.2 for at være for lille og ikke tilføje nok "nyt". Mange klagede også intenst over at der skete for lidt og det virkede som om udviklerne ignorede under Tavern Talk.

I forhold til at mindske opstanden så passer det nu meget godt.

Jer, som har været inde i ptr, har I afprøvet cursed realms? Der stod noget om det i datamining men intet i patch notes... Tror virkelig at det bliver en interessant tilføjelse med cursed realms - det er i hvert fald noget som jeg ser meget frem til!

Jer, som har været inde i ptr, har I afprøvet cursed realms? Der stod noget om det i datamining men intet i patch notes... Tror virkelig at det bliver en interessant tilføjelse med cursed realms - det er i hvert fald noget som jeg ser meget frem til!
Jeg tror ikke at det er aktiveret endnu... Det lader til at det er noget til fremtidig udvikling men krydser fingre for at der snart bliver løftet sløret for hvad det er :)

I forhold til at mindske opstanden så passer det nu meget godt.

Der er bare den lille forskel, at 2.1.2 ikke var en content patch, men nærmere en patch for at rette op på nogle ting, som ikke fulgte Blizzards tankegang.

Men jeg syntes ikke vi skal klage over vores content patches, i WoW er der lige udkommet 6.1 og det er først nu Blizzard smider de ting ud, som de sagde ville være i WoD release. Nu spiller jeg ikke, men en ven fortalte, at der heller ikke var kommet nogle nye raids.

Så jeg tror vi skal være glade for 2.2 når den endelig udkommer.

Jeg er rimlig sikker på, at de mindst har arbejdet på Patch 2.2 i over et halvt år. Man skal huske, at de tre nye sæt og nogle af de nye legendaries allerede blev vist til BlizzCon og man kunne spille det der, på deres maskiner.

Lige præcis og det er der mange der ikke forstår. og det også derfor at det er 3. tal der ændrer sig. Første tal så er det en enorm ændring, andet tal og det er stor ændring af grundlæggende ting, og tredje tal og det er nogle rettelser og balanceringer.

Om jeg også begriber at folk nærmest forventer et nyt spil hver gang - det tager jo tid at udvikle og det seneste skal først testes.

Jeg er rimlig sikker på, at de mindst har arbejdet på Patch 2.2 i over et halvt år. Man skal huske, at de tre nye sæt og nogle af de nye legendaries allerede blev vist til BlizzCon og man kunne spille det der, på deres maskiner.
Længere ;) BlizzCon er jo allerede 4 måneder siden. Fra ide skabelse til at lave det, til faktisk at implementere det i spillet er der langt. Jeg vil skyde på at de har været igang i mindst et år med det.

Ja det bemærkede jeg godt , de er altså 2 store QoL opdateringer der kommer til at gøre spillet meget mere flydende. Så mangler vi bare de crafting mats....

Eneste ting der kan nage mig lidt, er, at man som season 2-spiller godt kan sidde og have en følelse af, at man allerede spiller 'outdated' content. Men jeg har besluttet mig for ikke at logge på PTR og opleve de nye ting, før der er gået i hvert fald 1-1½ måned, og jeg har pløjet S2 igennem tilpas meget.
Det er jeg enig i, det var ikke så slemtmed patch 2.1.2 da det var relativt småt hvad den bød på. Men alt det nye og lækre der er på vej tager lidt modet fra en. Men hey, så samler vi bare lidt paragon levels....

Lars - det skulle mest forstås som 'allerede' i forhold til, at 2.1.2 kom for nylig, og at Season 2 kun er to uger gammel. De har rigtigt nok arbejdet et stykke tid på 2.2.0, men det er sjældent, at vi ser så meget fokus på en patch så tidligt efter en anden stor begivenhed (2.1.2 og s2).

Man kan ærge sig lidt over, at de QoL ændringer først kommer nu, mange (inklusiv mig selv) mener, at mange af disse ændringer, som først er kommet i RoS burde have været der fra starten af. Men det er en helt anden ledelse vi har nu i forholde til Jay Willson.

Ja, jeg kan godt se, at det tager fokus lidt fra ens motivation til, at spille season 2. Havde også lyst til, at hoppe på PTR for, at teste Roland og Tal Rasha's ud, men vil stadig gerne farm lidt experience i season 2 og få lidt højere ranking osv.  ;)

Enig, det er mange ting som vi har efterlyst længe og siden udgivelsen næsten. Men hvad der betyder mest for mig er at de langt om længe begynder at lytte og lave disse ændringer som vi har efterlyst.

Det er en af grundene til at jeg er rigtig glad for skiftet efter Jay Wilson, men det går langsomt, desværre. Jeg synes dog Josh Masquiera og hans hold gør meget af det rigtige, de må bare godt blive hurtigere til at indse at der er noget om det spillerne klage over - f.eks. auto pickup af mats.


Fandt en lille artikel som har med ændringer i patchen, som ikke er nævnt i patch notes. Der står følgende :

 - Clicking on crafting materials of a type picks up ALL of that type within your pickup range (@Yttrius)

det er da nogenlunde tæt på autopickup :) er der nogen, i ptr, som af- eller bekræfte dette?
